    Every one has to enter their ibps bank options from 15 - 04 - 2013 in ibps website, later ibps will provide the banks.... I think in interview ibps again filter the candidates so 99% will get the job and more over its not india wide like po.its state wide competition only So maximum every will get chance to join in banks. Selection marks will vary from state to state.

    If you are become OBC then you are eligible for both the UR ( Unreserved ) and OBC. Dont worry friends 1st apply preferences then wait for results,Nearly 20,000 people joined as P.Os in various banks so we have bright chance.

    Hi sir i am belongs to obc category from tamilnadu my score is 58.2 is there any chances to get in. Because in tamilnadu the obc category cut off is 60 but the cut for oc is 55.80. They mentioned the following in the results "A candidate belonging to reserved category,selected on the basis of norms as applicable to General category, has been treated at par with a General category candidate for drawing up the merit list." So is there any chances to get in under general category

    Yes definitely there is 2nd list because some ibps po selected candidates entered the options for clerk, so they wont join. Their positions will be allocated by remaining candidates, dont worry start preparation for po.

      Yes there may be huge chance for you becoz banking personals need a capable person not a well scored person......education is different....working in a bank is different....

My friend got Selection last time even his marks was also closed to Cuttoff......don't worry remember 3 times Candidates are called for the Interview.....Many of them will get the Selection in PO, some of Qualifier couldn't attend Interview due to many reasons.... Little bit of Candidate Rejected bcoz of Documention, And there is More things as well........... U are Very Close to Selection.........Ol d Best......

    My Interview was on 19th Feb Ludhiana PNB Bank
    Here is my experience which i want to share with u.
    My panel no.was 2 M1,M2,M3,F4
    Doc verification completed at 11.30AM And interview start from 1.15 Pm.

    First of all he asked me abt my marks Which is just 3 marks above from the state cut off . And he got little bit angry with my marks

    As i entered in room i wish them Gud Afternoon with smile and they Wished me also.

    M1 who is head of Panel : How r u ??
    Me: Fine Sir.

    M1: Whats ur score?
    Me: 98

    M1; Very bad marks... Do u think u can get job with these marks?? and r u satisfied with ur performance??
    Me; Sir i have tried to do best from my side at the time of examination but may be there was some lacking from my side but i keep try to perform well for this time and from next time.

    M1; We cant do any thing in interview because interview will not impact on your rank because its only for 20%.
    Me: Yes sir, I know. But i only believe in hard work and still i m very much positive. I cant sit at home if i have got less marks.

    M1: OK. Don't think that we are discouraging you.Tell me abt your education??
    Me: I have told that i have done 12th in commerce and then i have done my graduation in Arts Economics correspondence.

    M1: Why u did Correspondence Graduation?
    Me ; as i started to reply he interrupt me and start saying ya ya i know u were not good in education so ur parents did not want to spend so much on u so that's why they did not allow u to go college.
    Again Me: No sir this is not the reason because u have my all documents u can check there and after 12th i have to start job for my further studies.... Again he Interrupted me.

    M1; Ok tell me if i deposit 25 lac then how much will be the interest @8% for 3 months?
    Me : i m little bit confused in zero and replied 5000/- and want some more seconds to again for calculation. Then i came to reply that it would be Rs 50000.

    M1: OK Fine. Tell me which is greater than between 2/3 and 3/4?
    Me: i Said3/4.

    M1: OK.What is capital expenditure?
    Me: Replied.

    M1: Where is BMB?
    Me: New Delhi.

    M1: What is the name of CMD?
    Me: Usha Ananth........

    M1: Tell me one more bank name where CMD is also a Female?
    Me: SBI Arundhati Bhattacharya.

    Then he asked M2 for ask who is very rude sardaar ji.
    M2 : What is My bhaago Scheme?
    Me: Replies

    M2; U have read Public Admin in graduation?? Tell Me what is written on first page of ur book regarding constitution
    Me: I said i did nt remember sir. Sorry

    And he asked a question regarding Hargobind Khurana and i was not aware abt this so i did not understand his question..

    Then its M3. Who is quite nice person.
    M3 : Do u have Pan Card?
    Me: Yes sir.
    M3: What is full form of PAN?
    Me: Permanent Account Number.
    M3: What is the procedure of selecting President??
    Me: From Parliament. That person who got maximum votes from the members of both Loksabha and Rajya Sabha
    M3 : U mean Public's voting elect President/
    Me ; I said no sir and i explained whole procedure and he looked satisfied with answer.

    Then its turn of F4. She was a nice lady and was very much polite.
    F4. Who was first PM ( lady) of India?
    Me: Mrs Indira Gandhi.

    F4 : Who was first Lady President of India?
    Me: Smt Pratibha Patil.

    F4: What is difference between minor and major term in banking?
    Me. I know the meaning of these term but cant explained so she explain it to me with example..


    And the interview came to en end...
    Whole the interview was in Punjabi language to check language skill... And i felt that from starting they are no so much interested in interview. They kept doing their own work and there are 2-3 persons from and staff who continuously wandering there and were talking loudly with each other.
    M very much depressed with my interview.... I dont know what will happen?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
